"Apple Partners Bullish On Parallel Processing"

I was recently interviewed by Computer Reseller News' Kevin McLaughlin in this news story about Apple's upcoming 10.6 operating system.

Advances in OS X's use of parallel processing is a very good thing for the future of the Mac platform, so while you may not be impressed by the "new feature list" of 10.6, you should be impressed by its performance, in theory. We'll see when it's released next year.

Of course, one will hope that Apple still includes some upgrades to features. On our list is better Exchange support in Apple's core applications, over the air iPhone syncing with iCal Server, and bug fixes for some of the new features, like the Wiki Server.

Apple has been great at putting in productivity features that we weren't knocking down the door for either. We're all huge users of spaces and expose, some great application management tools in 10.5 that help users manage lots of windows and lots of applications. We hope Apple will have a few more of those as well.
